Damascus James is the publisher of TEXAS LETTERS, an ongoing anthological work and book series revolving around lives spent in solitary confinement in Texas. He is also the founder of ANTHOLOGIC (anthologicpublications.org), a non-profit publishing house amplifying writings that advance our awareness of oppression and injustice to foster conversation, break down barriers, and promote empathy. His words have been featured in DAZED, PEN AMERICA, NPR, DALLAS MORNING NEWS, AND TEXAS OBSERVER.
